Gallery Junction is most pleased to offer this stunning 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster. Having just completed a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration here in California with just test miles since completion. It is finished in its original color of code 906G, the very desirable color combination of silver blue metallic over a red leather interior with a black soft top and matching silver blue hard top. The deep rich paint highlights an arrow straight body with excellent gaps and panel fitment. All factory welds appear as they should and the headlight notches are present as well. The car was stripped down and repainted, all stainless and chrome trim redone, all new rubber seals and weather stripping, hand cut and sewn hides, new carpets, new soft top, hand polished refinished wood trim and European headlights. The motor and transmission were rebuilt and all mechanicals attended to throughout the restoration process. The car runs and drives exceptionally well.
